Sales Director (Southern Europe) required for important position within a pre-IPO AI-based SaaS Asset analytics software company which specializes in providing highly innovative solutions into the Utilities industry.
This is a remote/home-based position based in France, Spain, Italy or Portugal. Fluency in English is essential. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in selling large complex enterprise / SaaS software solutions (any experience selling into the Utilities or GIS industry is beneficial but not essential). Deal size starting at €300K+ range with C-level engagement, solid RFP experience, some of which in the public procurement led and/or highly regulated industries and 6-12 month sales cycles. Responsibilities: - Lead outbound efforts in Southern Europe (France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece) to grow pipeline through direct contact, partners and collaboration with marketing. Which includes both Hunting and Strategic account management (land and expand). - Full lifecycle sales lead on moving a deal from initial contact through to contract signed in 6+ months complex sales cycles. - Develop and write proposals, statements of work and RFP responses in line with customer requirements. - To lead and grow a sales team.
