Market Business Development Manager urgently required for an important position within a highly innovative software company which specializes in providing solutions for asset-intensive organisations (large multi-million dollar deals).
This position can be remotely based anywhere in the US or Canada as long as you are within a relatively easy reach of a major airport.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development / consulting, ideally within an enterprise software environment. You will thrive in making business decisions and like getting into the mindset of the client to understand how they can be served better. It would be advantageous if you have experience putting together business cases and building go to market strategies.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Driving the expansion of the client's products into new industry verticals globally. You will work across multiple departments and with prospects to lead new market tests and evaluation to support ongoing market expansion
- Sourcing and leading discovery meetings with potential prospects in new industries
- Creating the business case for entering a new industry and key messaging and marketing themes. Along with securing key prospect meetings as part of the sales process
- Partnering and supporting sales teams.
