Managing Solution Consultant urgently required for pivotal position within a pre-IPO Asset Management software company which specializes in providing solutions for asset intensive organisations (e.g. electricity / gas / water transmission and distribution, O&G and transportation industries). [Please note this is a home-based role in Dubai and will cover the Middle East.]
The successful candidate will have experience working within the utilities industry, some of which as a pre-sales / solution consultant. Asset Management experience is not essential as long as you are interesting in learning more about it! Ideally you will have positioned asset management, resource planning or some form of enterprise or analytics solution to utility customers.
This is naturally a very customer facing position. Your responsibilities will be to support the sales team in meeting new and potential customers, designing and presenting solutions, working on proof-of-concepts, creating proposals and RFPs, doing product demos. There will also be an element of assisting in the delivery of the solution so any experience managing and deploying complex enterprise solutions into large customer sites (or at least companies with lots of physical assets in the field!) would be highly beneficial. i.e: - Managing client expectation & scope management ; - Assist client in determining the business and process impacts of the implementation; - Project & activity status reporting
