About the Role

Senior Account Manager required; ideally with experience working in the energy utilities industry. An exciting role awaits with a cutting-edge AI-driven software company specialising in energy utilities asset management. This rapidly growing scale-up is seeking a Senior Account Manager to manage and expand relationships with electric DNO/DSO utilities in the DACH region.

This role offers a unique blend of strategic and operational responsibilities, providing a dynamic and stimulating work environment. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of innovation, working with state-of-the-art AI and machine learning technologies that are transforming the energy utilities landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture existing accounts within the DACH region, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and execute account plans, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Coordinate with partners and customers to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
  • Engage in strategic planning while occasionally handling operational tasks to support customer success.

     

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in complex enterprise software account management, preferably within the energy utilities sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow accounts, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Hands-on mentality, with a willingness to dive into operational tasks when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential.
