Senior Technical Support Specialist (APAC) urgently required for important position within a pre-IPO enterprise software company which specializes in providing highly-innovative solutions into asset-intensive industries (e.g. Utilities, O&G, Transportation, Mining).  

The successful candidate will have a strong technical IT support background in MS Windows Server and Networking (i.e. solid understand of networking principles/such as understanding why network packets aren't coming through etc). Any experience working with AWS, Google Cloud or MS Azure would be desirable.

This role will have two primary responsibilities: 1. providing application support on my client's flagship product to customers in APAC inc ANZ 2. providing IT technical support as part of their global CloudOps team - clients are using a hosted solution and you will log in and support their issues around Wins Server and Networking problems.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the existing team in APAC as their first dedicated support person in the region.

You will be hands-on with all support issues from day 1 but as the support function grows in the region you will have an opportunity to help structure this and move into a leadership position. Therefore we are looking to hire someone who is technically self-sufficient and can support all client issues prior to the North American support teams coming online. Once they are online escalation can take place if necessary.
